Dog walkers can be self-employed, or work for dog houses. In both types of employment, their job is to take a dog or dogs for walking so that daily need of exercise is met. When working for self, they will pick the dog from the owner's house and return it back after walking. At kennels, they may take single or many dogs for walking. The purpose of this profession is to ensure that dogs are healthy and happy. They will also have to take care of food and water, and provide basic training to canines.
