Substitute Teacher Resume
Substitute teachers, as the name suggests, are hired by schools to fill in the place of lead teachers who are on leave. Usually, they are employed for a temporary basis on till the lead teachers they are replacing come back. But then there are some schools that hire substitute teachers on a permanent basis as they believe scouting for replacement at the eleventh hour will hamper students' education.
However, they will handle the same responsibilities regardless of whether they are hired for temporary or permanent basis. They will teach lesson in classrooms, give and check assignment, contribute in students' progress, and assist teaching staff in improving education quality.
These substitute teachers work with elementary, secondary, middle, and high schools and may teach entire subjects or as per their specialization in one particular subject. To work as a substitute teacher in any school, you must have a certificate in teaching along with experience of providing oral and written instructions.
