Legal Administrator Resume

Legal administrators work in legal office and take charge of daily operations. They also oversee income and expenses of the law firm. Some of the law firms may also assign them hiring and firing of staff. These professionals may also perform the job of receiving clients, handling telephone, inventory of office supplies. Though they are not eligible to argue a case in the court, they still need to hold fundamental knowledge of the law system. This type of knowledge is useful for them when drafting subpoenas, and appeals or complaints. Other tasks they perform include filing and maintaining of case files, courtroom requests, and legal forms.

To work as a legal administrator, one has to be good in multi-tasking and working under pressure. The person also have knowledge of business administration. Some law firm may prefer accounting knowledge.
