The job of patent examiners is to address patent applications and examine them based on the inventors' claims. This means, they check if that particular invention for which the patent application is received, is already been invented by some other person or not. In case, there is no such invention before, then they will assess the safety, usage, and genuineness of the invention. In short, they have to check anything invented and claimed unique by the inventors are legitimate, safe, and genuine.
