Some people don't like to stay at any place other than their homes. They are so used to with their living place that even when they aged, get injured or ill, or become disabled, they still prefer to get treated within the comfort of their homes. Family members of such people have to arrange for a home care aide to provide care to sick and ailing member. These home care aides work for private agencies that provide families with care takers. Some aides work for themselves as a freelancer.
Whether one is working for self or an agency, he or she has to assist patients at home in performing daily living activities.
