Entry-level auditors are the like the editors of the printing industry whose job is to correct grammar and spelling mistakes. But being connected to the accounting industry, their job is fix errors in financial statements. While the job sounds easy, in actual sense, it is not. The auditors have to collect and study several supporting documents, perform complex calculations, and reconcile the statements. As you will be working with different people, superior communication and interpersonal skills are necessary. The job also requires you to put in extra hours, which means you need to be flexible and ready to work beyond office hours. Mostly importantly, you have to work with a sense of responsibility since a minor mistake in numbers can have the output upside down.
