Home attendant is responsible to take care of the home and the person residing in it. The home is generally a private one, and the person could be an elderly patient or a child or an adult who needs assistance in bathing and toileting. He or she also performs household chores, and do grocery shopping.
Certain tasks also include changing the bed linens, cleaning patient's room, washing and ironing patient's clothes, preparing and serving food, and administering medications.
