Associate Pastor Resume
An associate pastor can work part-time or full-time depending on the need of the church. His duties will depend on how big or small the church is and where it is located. If the church is big and involved in several community services, he will be catering to a particular need, for example, youth outreach. He may also fill in the position of a senior pastor in his absence. His regular responsibilities will be to assist the senior pastor in the holding meetings, preparing sermons, setting fund-raising events, designing and planning service programs, coordinating and inviting eminent speakers from different backgrounds, and marketing and promoting the ministry.
To work as an associate pastor, a bachelor's degree in Biblical studies is necessary. In addition, you must have worked for five to seven years in different capacity at a ministry. If you have the qualification and experience to take on the responsibilities of an associate pastor, this sample resume may be of your help.
