Dear Ms. Fulks,

Re: Waiter Position

I recently heard from a friend that The Pride group of hotels is looking for an experienced waiter. Therefore, I would request you to review my resume enclosed with this application letter. I am sure that I would prove to the ideal candidate for this profession.

Since the last six years, I have been working as a waiter with Radisson Hotels. During this considerable time, I have learnt what is required to handle upscale guests in a typical restaurant environment, how to multi-task, communicate the needs to the customers, and provide them timely service. Along with this, right now I am completed my studies in Hotel Management. I have a good list of clientele who just come in, so that I serve them, and that is how I rate my waiter skills. I am a quick learner, good listener, and can handle multiple guests at the same time. Besides this, I follow only one rule, good customer service is the best service.

I would like to speak further with you, and therefore, would request you to schedule a round of personal interview. If you think that I am right for this position, then call me at 712-458-4352 to fix a time. Thank you for your time.

Yours sincerely,
Penny Haddox
