There are three types of cover letters, prospecting cover letter, application cover letter and networking cover letter. The format of the cover letter is not different for all these letters but the approach to the employers varies a lot. In the application letter you are applying for a certain position, in the prospecting letter you are enquiring about some position and in the networking letter you are requesting for some information regarding a position or a job profile so that you can apply for that position. Here is a sample planner cover letter which is an application cover letter.
Career Profile for Planner
A planner is one who prepares blue prints for any task to be accomplished from scratch with his expert planning and organizational skills. The responsibilities of the planner may vary depending upon the organization for which he is working and his profile. There are event planners, meeting planners, wedding planners, inventory planners, civil planners, city planners, etc. Each one of these need to be qualified in their respective fields and should have experience of planning and scheduling projects to be implemented. Planners work in a team and rarely work independently.
Here I have provided a cover letter for event planner. Similar format can be followed by any planner.
