ETL Developer Responsibilities
Extract, transfer and load, also known as ETL is a method employed by a company to develop and hold electronic information. The ETL developer responsibilities include scheming, constructing, examining and conserving these information stations. He runs a section of the significant development team.
The ETL developer makes the information processor application programs for holding on to the information supported on the requirements of the establishment. Once the system has been initiated, the developer examines and troubleshoots the system before it is brought into effect.

- Creating and enforcing all the publishing activities such as dashboards, and holding back the system documentation needed with accordance to the IT programs and SDLX processes and aiding all the activities and resolving the issues
- Working with all the business users and developers to collect the needed information, finishing the ETL applications and programs on systems, applying the information store house activities and organizing reports for the same
- Studying the root cause on all the procedures, breaking down the manufacture matters, confirming all the information, executing routine examinations on information stations and assisting the ETL programs and practices
- Developing and examining different ETL languages for system information, studying the information and creating all the information functional methods for information models in systems
- Supporting the ETL programs, keeping agreement with the same and enhancing and storing different regulations to execute ETL codes and storing effective project life cycles on all the ETL methods
- Writing all the examining methods for systems and procedures and working in collaboration with business experts and users to conclude the requirement matters and maintain superiority for the same
- Observing the business needs, confirming the designs, planning ETL procedures and organizing written papers for information inflow drawings
Qualifications and Skills
The candidate must be an engineering graduate in computer science or Information Technology or in a related field. He must have minimum 5 years of experience in data stage 7 or 8.1. He must be an expert in oracle and should be able to write unix shell scripts and intricate SQL queries. Having a master's degree in computer engineering would take him to places.
Work Conditions
He works in an office which is fast paced and ever changing. He works for about 8 hours everyday with around 5 working days.
Salary
He earns a salary of USD 54,000 per annum on an average. But this may vary from one place to another depending on the size of the organization where he works.
