Answer: To answer this question, you first need to spend an hour or two or even more if required and learn all that you can about the operations of the organization. Though it is not possible to learn each and everything about the organization, you will definitely come to know many things when you research and this will be an added advantage.

Question 3: What books, blogs, and portals do you read in order to stay updated with the advancements in this domain?
Answer: Speak about whatever you read and also point out what you like and dislike about a particular book, blog, or other source of information. This will give an impression that you do not just blindly follow the sources, but also look at them critically.

Question 4: What do you think is the biggest challenge the industry is facing today?
Answer: It can be lack of talented staff, high production costs, unavailability of resources, or any other issue that has been affecting the IT industry. Cite out reasons that you believe are acting as a hindrance to the otherwise blooming IT sector backed with facts.

Question 5: How do you adapt yourself according to the work environment and the people you work with?
Answer: Mention about your relationship with colleagues in the previous company and also speak about how you develop and maintain professional relationship with the employees.

Question 6: What according to you is the best motivating factor?
Answer: Speak frankly about what do you consider as the biggest motivation, be it appreciation of your senior, monetary benefits, or awards, or any other act that motivates you.

Question 7: What have you learned from your past mistakes?
Answer: It is not uncommon to commit mistakes. But people sometimes take it as a defeat and do not pay attention to the positive side of the incident. Every mistake teaches, and it would be a foolish act not to learn from your mistakes. Mention some of the incidents where you were left with valuable lessons in the end after committing mistakes. It would create an impression that you are not ashamed of accepting your mistakes and moving on rather than regretting it.
