Aquatics Director Resume

Aquatics directors are experts in swimming and hold a great amount of knowledge of training and activities that can be conducted in a pool. They are responsible for the overall management of the pool from safety to training and procuring training equipment. These professionals also have to plan and offer summer training programs for children and adults interested in learning swimming. The management may even ask them to organize and oversee swimming tournament. Further, it is also the directors' responsibilities to hire and train staff. Depending on the activities undertaken by the management of the pool, the Aquatics Directors may also organize outdoor summer camp and provide training to candidates for canoeing, rowing, snorkeling, and small-boat sailing.

As the job deals with the youth, the directors have to hold experience of working with all age group. Besides being an expert in swimming, they also need to complete a life-saving training program such as Lifeguard, CPR, or First Aid certification.
