What is the use of the efforts you have put in drafting a resume which is rejected? You must have tried your best to impress the reader but may be just from your point of view. Resume is a master piece which sketches you in the eyes of the employer and so it is essential to be employer friendly. You must be aware of the term user friendly. At least for me, when I heard the term employer friendly for the first time, I related it with the word user friendly. Both terms share much in common.

The only difference is that the term user friendly means the thing which is easily used, accessed or explored by its user or an individual and employer friendly means the thing which is easy going with the employer. There are only two things that could be employer friendly. One is you and other is your resume. For you to be employer friendly, you must first make your resume employer friendly. That's why refer to these ways to write employer friendly resumes.

Long Length is a Strict No

Not only employers but any reader would not prefer a lengthy resume to read through. Crisp information is more than enough. Do not try to lengthen your resume unnecessarily as it would be simply waste of time and energy.

Reader Friendly Font Always use a font style and size that is easy to read. Every individual does not carry same level of understanding and so could be difficult to read stylish fonts. A common font that is used generally is Times New Roman and font size is twelve.

Bullets in Demand

Writing your information in bullet points is necessary. The information mentioned is simple to pick and short bullet points can be remembered without any efforts. Also it looks presentable in appearance.

Sensible Information

Many employers complain that for the sake of impressing the reader, candidates tend to add information that has nothing to do with the job they are seeking. Insensible information could be annoying, so make sure you mention the most appropriate information in your resume.

Relevant Details

Employers expect the details that are most relevant to your job profile. Hence prioritizing on the details that are suitable to your job summary is essential.

Rule of Language

Your language can create a bad impression if wrongly used. Silly spelling mistakes and grammatical errors should be avoided and rechecked for amendments before the resume gets in the employer's hand.

I hate "I"

Your resume defines you on different aspects, hence making use of pronoun "I" is meaningless. Never make use of Letter "I" in a resume as it sounds too conservative.

Liars Not Entertained

No matter you do not have many skills, achievements, work experience in your kitty, don't try to lie or make up stories. Your attitude towards your work is the real you and so there is no need to bluff. Remember, the one who hires you is smarter than you.

Complex Combination of Words

Make use of simple words in your resume. Usage of complex words is provocation to rejection. So keep your statements simple with plain combination of words.

Reference When Asked For

Many individuals add up the reference column because they feel that would count and be impressive. However, that is not the case. There is no harm in being ready with your reference page. But, it should only be forwarded or submitted when asked for by the employer.

The above ways to write employer friendly resumes are friendly to you too. So, make better use of these ways while drafting your resume and invite the interviews.
